Chad Flatt of Pro Wrestling Weekly is once again joined by "The Motor City Madman" Johnny Kayfabe to examine the July 29, 1996 editions of WWF Monday Night RAW and WCW Monday Nitro. With Summerslam fast approaching, Vader is on the warpath enroute to a showdown with WWF World Champion, Shawn Michaels. We also see the second televised meeting between The Undertaker and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin long before the two achieved legendary status. Psycho Sid is also in action on RAW for the first time since his return to the company. On Nitro, the nWo is officially born. This is the most important episode to date with many eventful happenings including a devastating backstage attack by The Outsiders which saw Rey Mysterio launched like a dart by Kevin Nash into a production trailer, "Macho Man" Randy Savage taking an ill advised ride atop the nWo's limo, and the revelation that there was a fourth member involved. We also see the very first black and white vignette paid for by The New World Order that became a trademark of the group. The stage is now set for more major happenings at the upcoming Hog Wild PPV in Sturgis as the Monday Night War heats up even more! Enjoy this look back at the evolution of one of the most influential factions in pro wrestling history on this episode of Monday Is War.
