Pro Wrestling Weekly - Ep 86 - The Real King of Memphis.....

Chad & Keila are back in action this week covering a variety of topics with their usual southern fried flavor! The show opens with the duo discussing the passing of rock and roll legend Tom Petty and Chad paying tribute to the greatest pro wrestling announcer of all time, Lance Russell, who also passed away this week. The man who brought Jerry "The King" Lawler into the pro wrestling business set the standard by which all wrestling broadcasters are to be measured. From the antics of Andy Kaufman, to the insanity of Terry Funk, to the use of condiments as deadly weapons, Lance was there to bring the viewers every moment of the legendary territory that was Memphis wrestling. RAW and Smackdown were also both analyzed as well with Hell In A Cell looming soon followed by No Mercy. Chad provides proof once again that someone in Titan Towers is listening to the show and taking notes. A couple of departures from Impact Wrestling and a Japanese legend that will be spending more time on US soil all made headlines this past week as well. The show closes with another trip down Nostalgia Boulevard as several more "Great Moments in Wrestling History" are remembered. It's yet another delicious sampling of the tastiest audio dish you can spoon into your earholes on the latest edition of Pro Wrestling Weekly.
